| MSX is a fictional car company founded in Australia 1949. Its first car was the MSX Type 1 coupe and roadster, 4, a fibreglass body sports car with Holden 48-215 chassis and inline 6 engine, which was followed by the Type 2, 3 and 4, which had it's own complete chassis. Alongside the Type 1, MSX launched the Goanna, a small Jeep style civilian 4x4 with an MSX 4 cylinder engine. In 1957, MSX released their first 4 door sedan, the R70. It used the same chassis as the Type 4 and had MSX's new 2.8L inline 6. The R70 was the first in a line of large sedans that led to the current S70. MSX's 4WDs have proved very popular over the years, with the XT8/XC8 among the most popular models in the current range, like the 70 series Toyota Landcruiser and Mercedes-Benz G Wagen,the X818 XC8 Classic goes back 30 years. In 1998 MSX started a component supply deal with startup US car company ICCM, then makers of ISO cars, and has since jointly developed several SUVs, pickup trucks and passenger cars. In 2011 MSX started ISO International to sell ISOs outside North America, and and in 2012 they bought ISO from ICCM, who made the desicion to focus on Omega and ITC.MSX also owns Serber, their entry level brand which rivals the South Korean manufacturers, and Vertice, their luxury marque. MSX operates factories in Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, the UK, the US, Poland and Thailand
