Shaving Horses

A shaving horse is a traditional woodworking tool used primarily to shape long thin pieces of wood such as tool handles, walking sticks, canes etc. The user sits on one end of the bench and pressure from his/her feet clamp the work piece. This collection aims to combine the information available in the warehouse and I plan to study these designs in order to develop a new design.
