Columbus Indiana Architecture

This collection contains models of buildings located in Columbus, Indiana. With its population of 39,000, Columbus is ranked sixth in the U.S. for architectural innovation and design. Smithsonian Magazine called Columbus a "veritable museum of modern architecture." Visitors to Columbus can see more than 70 buildings and pieces of public art by internationally-noted architects and artists, including I.M. Pei, Eliel Saarinen, Eero Saarinen, Richard Meier, Harry Weese, Dale Chihuly and Henry Moore. This collection was created as a class project for 3D Visualization and Animation students enrolled in the C4 Columbus Area Career Connection. Their instructor is Robin Cain. cainr@bcsc.k12.in.us
