This is the world headquarters for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), with offices located on the fifth and sixth floors. The growth of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) mirrors the explosive growth of the green building industry in recent years. When the organization outgrew its previous space in less than two years, it wanted the new office to demonstrate its coming-of-age through sophisticated and advanced green building design and technology, while serving as a living lab, teaching visitors and employees alike why and how green building is better for occupants, better for business, better for the community and better for the planet. Igloo Studios, Inc. has created a virtual tour of the USGBC Headquarters. You can take the tour and earn continuing education credits through the USGBC. This collection contains products used in sustainable design from the manufacturers who underwrote the USGBC virtual tour.
