Passo Fundo é um município brasileiro do estado do Rio Grande do Sul, mesorregião do Noroeste Rio-grandense. Tem área de 780,355 km². Estimativa do IBGE de população do ano de 2009 é de 195 mil habitantes. Considerada a "Capital do Planalto Médio" é a maior cidade do norte do estado.
