In 2008, KraftMaid® earned the ISO 14001 Certification for its sustainable manufacturing processes. While ISO 14001 doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, it brings with it significant relevance when talking about green manufacturing. ISO 14001 begins by specifying requirements for establishing a company-wide environmental policy. ISO 14001 also requires manufacturers to determine environmental aspects and impacts of products, activities and services; plan environmental objectives and measurable targets, implement and operate programs to meet objectives and targets, checks and corrective actions; and management review. KraftMaid® is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and all KraftMaid® Cabinetry carries a limited lifetime warranty and is Environmental Stewardship Program-certified by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association.
