The ancient city of Xingcheng was built in 1428,XuanDe 3rd of Ming Dynasty,and repaired under the leadership of the officer Yuan Chonghuan in 1623,TianQi 3rd.It was named Ning Yuan Guarding City in the beginning.There is a gate in the middle of each side and a semicircular area lies outside.Meanwhile,there is a 2-floor pavilion above the gate.The circuit of the city walls reaches 3274 meters long and at the cross of the street and avenue Lies a drum-tower.To some extent,Xingcheng is one of the best preserved ancient cities in China.
