Thanks for suggesting models for my collections! I collect models based on a combination of category (e.g., "Post Offices"), visual presentation, and Google Earth-readiness. For acceptance to one of my collections the model should meet these criteria: Thumbnail represents a photo-textured SketchUp or Building Maker model of good resolution without special effects (not a real photo or rendered model). Model edges are turned off. Plain white background with no work artifacts (guides, terrain, etc.). Model is close to the camera and positioned nicely within a 5:3 ratio window (resize your SketchUp window before uploading). Terrain is hidden unless it is crucial to the model or attractive. Noise is edited from textures (no trees, cars, poles, people appearing on walls). SketchUp shadow settings are used to help create a feeling of solidity. Shadows cast on the ground plane may aid in balancing the composition. Please browse this collection for excellent examples of 3D model presentation! Also click the link for more help.
