I have centred my Prague models around the Nusle district. I chose the Nuselsky Most ( Bridge ) as the central feature of my collection. The challenge was masking the bridge footprint once I had put the 3D bridge in place. I have also modeled two smaller railway bridges in the valley below and then banked up the terrain to the outcrop of Vyšehrad to the southwest. This supports the main feature and gives a more realistic look. The models in my collection are not highly detailed but have been added to compliment the good work of many others. Prague has already been selected by Google for inclusion in the 3D Building Maker application therefore considerable satellite imagery has been made available to modellers. This has resulted in very impressive results when viewing the city using Google Earth. Large areas were also modelled by Google themselves providing a stunning 3D environment.There is an excellent article covering this region and it can be reached from the blue web link just below.
