| KOW is one of the largest independent architectural firms in the Netherlands. KOW’s particular strength lies in its ability to design and build in a wide range of styles with diverse materials. KOW employs a unique approach when carrying out its design assignments. Based on the philosophy of genius loci (spirit of the place), KOW Architecture develops a concept for a specific location without first giving priority to a certain architectural style. The primary factors in design are the function that the new building or complex will serve for those who use it and the context within which it is located.
