Located in the Ark-LA-Tex region of the United Sates and founded as a railroad town in 1873, Texarkana, USA is a thriving little city in the corner of Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas. The collection Texarkana, USA refers to the twin cities of Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas. More specifically, it reflects the address of the US Post Office and Courthouse that straddles the state lines of Texas and Arkansas effectively making it the only federal building to be in two states. The state lines of both states run directly through the middle of the city (cities). Both cities have a mayor, city hall, and police and fire departments, but share such amenities as the Texarkana Regional Airport and the Bi State Justice Center in downtown, making Texarkana a truely unique American city. This collection is for all of Bowie (Tx) and Miller (Ar) county models.This cllection is recieving fresh updates of most of my models. The newer updates being the McCartney Hotel, Grim Hotel, Union Station, and more to come! I hope they will enhance your veiwing pleasure when inside google earths 3D buildings layer.
