Did you know?... New Mexico has the only round state house. The last domed capitol (W. Virginia) was built in 1932, but Oklahoma's incomplete capitol dome was finished in 2002 using modern building methods. In the 1930s Art Deco office towers replaced domes in newer capitol designs. Hawaii's capitol is modeled after a volcano and surrounded by water.
