by John
The village of Cam comprises two parts - Upper Cam and Lower Cam. There are some mill buildings along the length of the River Cam and much 20th C housing and light industry. Cam is in Gloucestershire in south-west England. Local buildings are built of a mixture of brick, marlstone and limestone. Many buildings are stuccoed. There are several churches of various denominations. The Cotswold Way walking trail passes through Cam over the scenic limestone and sandstone outcrops of Long Down and Cam Peak.
