| If there was a town in Florida that was unaffected by all the hotel and restaurant chains, it would be Google Shores. Once you come here, it would feel like the Wildwoods in New Jersey in the 1950s and 60s. This place has changed very little since the 1960s, with neon-lit Googie-style motels of all shapes, colors, and sizes still lining the shoreline. You'll also find the neon-lit Googie-style coffee shops and drive-in restaurants and diners around here. Many motels, such as the now-closed Shoreline, Palm Tree, Mango, Sunflower, and the Beachcomber have been here for over 50 years. UPDATE: More developers are building motels over here like Hillside Valley.
