Built in 1507 at the reign of Boguslaw X. Object was the residence of the princes of Pomerania Gryfit dynasty. Castle was used as a warehouse of weapons and cereals and also as a prison.It led to the devastation of this object. After the Second World War the castle was completely renovated. Currently, there is a Museum of Middle Pomerania with the world’s largest collection of portraits company S.I. Witkiewicz-Witkacy.
