The Wies Church (Sanctuary of the Scourged Savior on the meadow) is a remarkably richly designed pilgrimage church in Wies (community Steingaden). It was built in 1745-1754 by the brothers Johann Baptist and Dominikus Zimmermann in the style of the Rococo. The altarpiece is from the Munich court painter Balthasar August Albrecht.
