The building was founded in 1616. Since 1799 the residence of the Archbishop of Minsk has been situated here. The building was also used as a men's gymnasium. In 1835 the monastery burned down to ashes. Later the building was rebuilt in classical style. Now in the building of the former monastery cafes, restaurants and offices are located.
