The new Madoc OPP Station (District 9) was completed in 2003. Also known as the "Andrew Gordon Building" (in memory of one of our fallen heroes), this state-of-the-art facility was built to replace the previously occupied station which was ultimately deemed too small to meet current needs, out-dated and in bad need of repair. Madoc Police patrol an area exceeding 4000 square miles. Madoc OPP Historical Information to follow soon. As well, I still need to confirm the "actual" opening date of this facility.
