A lone Art Deco building just outside downtown Miami. The little structure features rounded corners and a tripartite facade, topped with a bass-relief ziggurat, which -strangely- doesn't thrust through the roofline. The entrance is flanked by pilasters of one of Florida's signature materials; coralrock. Above the door there is a semi-circular canopy. the rounded corners contain rounded windows, allowing cross-ventilation, which is a common feature in the pre-AC early 20th century. Circular holes in the facade, just under the roofline have been filled up with bass-relief fountain motifs. It's a shame to see this kind of architecture go to waste.
