This building was built in 1948 with the new Streamline Moderne style in mind. Though in the buildings of that time rounded corners were quite usual, everything in this building is square. The architect probably wanted to design the building in such a way that as much light as possible was let in to the rooms; that's why on every façade there are a number of windows. The windows are shuttered, and wrap around the corners. This allows the wind to blow through the entire room. The façades are topped with a small fence-like thing, giving the impression that there are balconies on top of the structure. Seven green straps and one continuous eyebrow are wrapped around the entire building.
