Added cut away to show the roof layers. Also worked out the roof edging. This turned out to be a tough little problem as the edges of the edging boards don't align with each other. The trick I adopted is to stop the boards an inch or so shy of the corners and then connect only the outside edges of the boards. This works out well as these gaps serve perfectly for roof drainage. At this point I've worked through all of the issues that I can see (at this high level) for constructing a house with this new construction system. The next logical step is to model out a complete house using this system. That's a good project for the coming winter.
