A small student shelter which is to be built by the student and friends -'aided self help'. The structure, located in an arid climate, is made completely from adobe, including the roof. Size and placement of windows takes advantage of prevailing winds to provide cooling, and the thermal mass is very useful to provide the required heat at night. The rainwater is collected from the roof.
