Garage/workshop. Originally built circa 1820 as a chapel after a split with the Tabernacle. There was a dispute over the organ. The building was constructed by Messrs Pocock, Pyer and Smith, Wesleyan Methodists from Bristol. Services only held there for a few years. After reconciliation with the Tabernacle in 1825, the building was used as a carpenter's workshop. Later in the 19th C the building was used as a warehouse. Building constructed, on steeply sloping hill, out of limestone rubble. Front and side walls strengthened with iron tension bars held in place using circular plates or crossed rectangular plates. Asbestos corrugated roofing replaces original slate roof. Large windows at rear. Early and Late 20th C lean-to additions at front and side with glazed and tiled roofs
