The Whitehall Building Annex was added just north of the building in 1911, it stands at 424 Feet (129 Meters), 31 Floors. At the time it was completed the annex was the largest building in New York City. The original Whitehall Building was converted to apartments in 1999, both buildings became a national landmark in 2000. Due to the prominent location, together both buildings make a dramatic introduction to the modern day Lower Manhattan Skyline.
