Built by J.W. Critchfield in 1923 as a boarding house/ hotel, the Pioneer Building is a local landmark in Steamboat Springs CO. The Pioneer Bar was downstairs until the mid 1950's. Converted in 1979 to office and retail space for the booming SkiTownUSA downtown. The photo used was taken July 4th 2009. - Listed on the Routt County Register of Historic Places in 1995.
