From the book by Cathleen Norman, Golden Old and New - A Walking Tour Guide (Page 14) Built of clapboard siding, this home has a wide front porch and a shingled gable end. Originally a stable for the home at 1100 Twelfth Street, it was later expanded into a six-room dwelling at a cost of $1,000. It is now a three-bedroom house.
