- - The Center for Renewable Energies from the National Engineering University, Lima, CER-UNI is working with the community of Raymina in Ayacucho, Perú to use renewable energy (wind, solar, etc.) to provide power to product lines such as: drying medicinal herbs, seeds and Andean grains; a dairy product line; fruit processing and brick manufacturing. - This project is one of the winners of the Energy Innovation Contest IDEAS 2009 funded by GVEP International, GTZ, the IDB and the Korean Fund for Innovation. - The team leader and Director of CER-UNI, is the engineer Rafael Espinoza Paredes.
