The bridge has been constructed to join Cadiz city with the rest of Spain. The span mesaures 560 meters and the towers are 180 meters of high. This is a important estructure for the region because it allows go to Cadiz and the harbour in the half time than the people spends today. The bridge was named "La Pepa" in honor of the first constitution of Spain. It was enacted the day of Saint Joseph, "Pepe" in spanish and the constitution was called "Pepa".
