Moore Musical Arts Center was built in 1979, and is the largest instructional building on campus. The building is designed to provide up-to-date facilities for the needs of the high quality curriculum of the College of Musical Arts. It contains Kobacker Hall (capacity 850), Bryan Recital Hall (capacity 250), pianos and organs, a Balinese Gamelan, music technology studios, music computer lab, curriculum lab, professional recording studio, a harp studio, two large rehearsal halls, small and medium-size rehearsal rooms, and an instrument repair shop. The college is internationally renowned for its broad-based programs, and has earned special acclaim as a center for the composition and performance of contemporary music.
