This beautiful but simple Art Deco building had served tourists and numerous celebrities for over 53 years, until developer Thomas Kramer came and torn the historic structure down in 1993. With eyebrows and strange Art Deco motifs of the front, this building features a lot of different Art Deco elements. The emphasis lies of the middle of the front façade, where a vertical sign shouts the name of the hotel into the streets. In the 1980s, the building became run down, outdated, and was renting too small rooms. The poor and elderly who inhabited the building were chased away on a 2 week notice, before the wreckers arrived at the site and demolished the structure.
