This is a conceptual model of a Martian Colony. I took a practical, realistic approach to building it. It was designed organically. The city is built into the terrain in order to save on construction and resources. Also, the Martian bedrock serves as a naturally airtight barrier in which to tunnel in. Many enclosures as well as corridors are built with industrial strength glass ceilings - saving on lighting costs and creating the feeling of outside inside. The colony doesn't have a space port. It has a shuttle port in which transports conceivably truck persons and cargo to and from a distant colonial hub. The city has a host of public amenities such as a theater, park with reservoir, fountains, garden, administrative sector, courtyard, plaza, arena and academy.
