The Reynolds Building (in Winston-Salem, North Carolina) has been seen as an icon of corporate power and prosperity unequaled in the South, and is still often regarded as a symbol of the city.
The top of the building is lit at night, one of the most distinctive features of the city's skyline.The official opening was on Saturday, April 27, 1929.It was used as a model for the Empire State Building by the same architects.
