Built in 1983, this building contains thirty research and classroom labs, a rooftop observatory with telescopes for stargazing, a planetarium and a connecting path to Overman Hall. The planetarium is a 120-seat theater for viewing shows of more than 6,000 stars simulated by the Minolta planetarium projector. Students and area residents can attend planetarium shows. For historical information about this building, see Physical Science Laboratory Building and Planetarium on BGSU’s Historic Campus Tour.
