Designed by Theofilos Zachos
From: Xanthi, Greece
Shelter location: Greece
Date Accepted: August 29, 2009
“Architecture is first and foremost about a shelter…” Aris Konstantinidis. Relying on this proposition, I searched intensively for a design for a light, joint-ba sed structure in a tent-like form, which would be site adjustable, easy to orient accordingly, and adaptable to the surrounding landscape. The tent consists of three equal squares, each one of them behaving differently in section/elevation but in relation to their structural system (tubes and joints), compose the spaces needed, in plan.
