4th Update. Next update - Fall 2011 -- General structral additions, added better cranes ( CRANES MADE BY Athinaios )
The Shard's top corebox has now been removed. The concrete floors have now been completed and steel will be replacing the concrete until the final height of 310m. Only two Tower cranes now remain. One to complete the Backpack's Roof, and one to add structure to the top of the tower. Glass and floors are now progressing. The final occupiable floor has now been built and from now on the floors will be for maintenence only. The height of the building is 245m/310m

Shard London Bridge, previously known as London Bridge Tower, and also known as the Shard of Glass, 32 London Bridge and The Shard, is a skyscraper under construction in Southwark, London. When completed in 2012, it will be the tallest building in the European Union and the 45th tallest building in the world. It is the second tallest free-standing structure in the United Kingdom after the 1,084 ft (330.4m) Emley Moor transmitting station.
