The village of Kattenhochstatt is located five kilometers west of Weißenburg, to which it belongs today. In the center of this village, surrounded by a small graveyard, stands the evangelist St. Magnus church. Already in 1183 a former church was consecrated at this location. In 1875 the new nave was built and the church tower made higher. Said tower contains, among others, two bells from the years 1517 and 1671.
