Re-creation of the Southern Circle found within Durrington Walls. This model has been constructed using a mixture of Wainwright’s excavation plans, Stonehenge Riverside Project excavation plans and information seen in the geophysical survey undertaken by English Heritage. At Prof. Mike Parker Pearson's suggestion we've added in wooden lintels as well. This is a conjectural view. The upright wooden posts represent known features, the red and yellow posts are also conjectural. Created as part of the Google Under the Earth; Seeing-beneath-Stonehenge Project.
