The Cathedral of the Dormition is termed as the mother church of Muscovite Russia. The church stands on the Cathedral Square inside of the Moscow Kremlin. The church was built in 1475–1479 by the Italian architect Aristotele Fioravanti...Since 1721 The Cathedral has been the scene of the coronation of the Russian emperors.
