Built for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 the Palace of Fine Arts was designed by Bernard Maybeck as a simulation of a Roman ruin drawn from an engraving by Piranesi. It now houses the innovative science museum the Exploratorium. Modeled with photo-textures. Model created by Mason Thrall.
