The Grundig stadium in Nuremberg (formerly Frankenstadion); Home of German Bundesliga soccer team 1.FC Nuremberg; Capacity: 50,000 spectators (International: 44,308 all seats) It was built from 1926 to 1928 as Municipal Stadium at plans of the architect Otto Ernst Schweizer. At that time it was considered as one of the finest and most advanced stadiums all over the World. After several expansions and renovations, it was least rebuilt for the World Cup 2006. - Simplified model.
