Monument to the fallen sailors was presented on September 10th, 1958. on the occasion of the celebration of the 16th anniversary of Partisan navy. It consists of a lighthouse, ossuaries and relief. It was disegned by architects Donald Kuzmanić, Budimir Prvan, Branko Franičević and John Kinglet. The relief is the work of the famous sculptor Andrija Krstulović, students and associates of Ivan Mestrovic. The lighthouse was damaged 15 studenoga 1991., during bombing of JRM. Later, the ravages of time and further cut into distracted lighthouse, and a mausoleum and monument relief. In April 2013 lighthouse finally glowed. Its reconstruction is underway and completion is expected by the end of this year.
