This is a historic building built in 1989, which initially was situated in front of the sea, did not have the towers and contained only one wing. After the landfill, the second wing was built where there was formerly sea water. Located in the city center, it hosts the Public Market of Florianopolis. Several outlets share its bohemian and touristic south wing where bars with excellent beer and snacks can be found, together with fishmongers, and spice, fishing and even painting stores. Its north wing is dedicated to shoes shops. Tables of several bars that serve outdoors are located in its interior patio and surroundings.
