This model is completely new sketched and has the same resolution (walls:10cm/px, top:30cm/px) as the previous model in "Best of 3d-gallery", is more realistic (accurate height 48m instead of 67m, no one-side-transparent walls) and is nevertheless 29x smaller by efficient construction and texture-compression. More details, interactive 3d-PDF, interactive StreetView-panorama-phots and all current Best-of-3d-models on a 3d-map of Rome at www.3dhh.de/BestOf3d/Rom.html .In 2008/11 it has been the most viewed model (peak: 3400 clicks per day), replaced later by the much more complex model by Saikindi.
