中國館建築外觀以“東方之冠”的構思主題，表達中華文化的精神與氣質。國家館居中升起、層疊出挑，成為凝聚中國元素、象徵中華文化精神的雕塑感造型主體——東方之冠；地區館水平展開，以舒展的平台基座的形態映襯國家館，成為開放、柔性、親民、層次豐富的城市廣場；二者互為對仗、互相補充。國家館、地區館功能上下分區、造型主從配合，形成獨一無二的標誌性建築群體。China Pavilion Building exterior with "Oriental Crown" concept theme to express the spirit of Chinese culture and temperament.
