Located in Trenton, New Jersey, the New Jersey Statehouse was constructed in 1792 by Jonathan Doane. It covers 3.75 acres and cost ~ 250 English pounds to build, which is ~ $400 U.S. dollars today. Consisting of seven bays that radiate off of a center hall, the building is two and a half stories tall with a bell-tower at the center of the roof.
