Golden Old and New - A Walking Tour Guide
“Prominent resident George West built this brick and shingle Dutch Colonial Revival home for his later years. This style, distinguished by the four sided, Barn like roof was popular throughout the state in the early 1900s. Later, Reverend Carl Wild, Chaplain of First Colorado Calvary resided here. Sam Ellis, manager of O. T. Ellis Dry Goods Store, purchased this house in 1927 and lived here with his wife for many years."
