Pulled from an article in Fine Woodworking. This table is made from douglas fir lumber in standard dimensions. It has a two large pipe clamps that run the length of the table for clamping down large pieces, as well as a planing wedge and beam to support work on the edges of a large piece. Go to Fine Woodworking.com for the article entitled "New Fangled Workbench". I put together a cut list for the project and estimate it to be about $190 to build buying parts from Home Depot.
