An animated 3D recreation of the final voyage of the Costa Concordia cruise liner on Friday 13 January 2012, during which it struck rocks off the Italian island of Giglio and sank. After loading the model in Google Earth double-click where indicated on the left under Places. To speed up the animation click one or more times on the double arrows on the time slider. Animation can be used for any purpose providing credit of the author is given. The 3D models used in the animation can be downloaded from separate files in the 3D Warehouse.
