This model was created in conjunction with the Colorado School of Mines EPICS Class - December 2007. Professor Martin Spann and team members Matt Bourget, Ryan Hill, Dylan Hoback, Holly Lease, Jennifer Stevens, Cody Weitzel and Joseph Whang contributed to the project.
The Golden Community Center is a 71,483 square foot multifunction recreation facility which opened on October 1, 1994, and had a major renovation in 2006-2007. The Center offers a variety of recreation and leisure programs to all age groups from tots to older adults. Hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 5:30 am - 9:00 pm; Friday 5:30 am - 6:30 pm; Saturday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and Sunday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. The Community Center is closed on Christmas Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Easter and is open limited hours on Christmas Eve (closes at 4 pm), New Year's Eve (Closes at 4 pm), Labor Day (Closes at 4 pm) and Memorial Day (Closes at 4 pm).
