The innovative sweeping design of Ingalls Rink was crafted by pioneer architect Eero Saarinen in 1958. The large arching backbone of the rink soars over 300 feet providing an impressive interior space. This sweeping and arching design has lent its elf to the nickname of the "Yale Whale". The Ingalls Rink is the home to the Yale Bulldogs' Men and Women's Hockey Teams as well as figure skating. Modeled by Mason Thrall.
